Machine Learning Summer Camp
Each summer, since 2018, the University of Minnesota offers a machine learning day camp for local 11th and 12th graders and each year AMAAZE researchers contribute their time and effort facilitating the program. In fact, one of our founders, Dr. Jeff Calder, has been an integral force in the success of this program. And, over the last two years, one of our graduate students, Riley O'Neill has taught some of the classes. This year's offering, 2024 < RUN>: \ THE\ WORLD Machine Learning Summer Day Camp, was hosted by the School of Mathematics and the School of Statistics. No prior coding experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity to introduce students to the world of machine learning.
