Decoding the Past through Mathematics and Anthropology
AMAAZE
We are a global community of anthropologists, mathematicians, and computer scientists.
The Anthropological and Mathematical Analysis of Archaeological and Zooarchaeological Evidence (AMAAZE) is an independent, international network of anthropologists, mathematicians, and computer scientists who are working to advance analytical methods, using advanced mathematical and computational approaches, to address important questions within archaeology and zooarchaeology, and more broadly anthropology. Operating entirely outside of any single academic institution, we provide a vital, multi-institutional forum where individual researchers, professionals, and laboratories worldwide can connect, highlight their work, share open-access data, and collaborate freely.
