Michael Ruddy, Ph.D.

Michael Ruddy is a part of the Data Science team at Qventus working on using machine learning to develop models to improve hospital and health system operations. He has previously held positions in the MSDS program at University of San Francisco, as faculty, and in the Nonlinear Algebra Group at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, as a postdoctoral researcher. His mathematical research interests lie in geometric invariants, their computation, and their application. In data science he has experience working with spatial, health, and political data and enjoys connecting this work back to his theoretical interests.
